I am creating lists of one syllable words sorted by sound. This week’s sound is /g/. Beginning consonant blends with the /g/ sound include gl and gr. The only ending consonant blend with the /g/ sound that I can think of is rg, and I can think of only two one syllable words with this consonant blend: erg and berg. If you can think of any others, put them in the comments section.

That is a good point! I will address that in my next post.
Is rg a consonant blend? I was taught that as an r controlled vowel as a vowel would come before the r. I don’t teach that as a blend.
